HOUSING
by Heidrun, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, Vienna, Austria
Management Science, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? it was great to live independently in an apartement, that's why I would do it again this way
Personal comments:
It was perfectly organised, but too expensive in comparison with the costs at home, but it was ok compared with the housing costs in France, nearly all the apartements I've seen were in best order as far as cleaniness and facilities are concerned. The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Personal savings Government assistance An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't want/need to work Personal spending habits:
housing was more expensive because you indirectly paid the rent of the summer months when nobody is living in the apartments; of course I traveled more than at home. telephone was cheaper, because I had a phone in my apartment and there was a cheaper tariff from austria to france than from austria to austria (but not vice versa!) Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife, Overall: was the same price as at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
for cell phones you can choose Breizh mobil which is cheaper This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
