Why? Freedom to do whatever you want and proximity to centre of town

Our flat was ok, not the greatest but it suited the purpose! was quite expensive but the location was brilliant!

Fave bars : Falstaff, Casa de Cuba, Cafe Soleil. ESSCA events are usually quite good too, and Midstar is an awesome club!

The classes are reasonably easy compared to my courses at home, however its good to take them to improve french knowledge

Was easy to communicate within the school and in most situations, except in very formal situations (bank, etc) but this got easier with time

Housing was more expensive and at Stratclyde I walk to uni instead of having to take the bus so obviously I spent more on transport!
Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.

I knew most stuff before i went, wish I'd had more information on which bank to get an account with though, Societe Generale are "difficult" to deal with, shall we say...
