Why? It was easy to arrange and the apartments were rather new
Personal comments:
if you want to live with german students, don't request to live in WHO on fichtenweg, so many international students live there

I found good the german language's classes after which it was possible use the german grammatick knowledge in the host country, speaking with the people

Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home.

You just got to come here, it is so great the perfect balance of study and social life, although it isn't so god for shopping, stuttgart is only 50 mins on the train and if you come near xmas the xmas markets are great with an outdoor ice rink in stuttgart
