HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Student Hostel
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? The location of the hostel is beside the railroad tracks and is disturbing. It also does not help that our buiding has been robbed several times. Our flat for one have fallen victim to a break-in robbery. I think that it will be safer for me to stay on-campus besides it will benefit me during research work.
Personal comments:
I think that the school has done as much as it can to provide us with a better housing. In my knowledge the school have made arrangements to future students to be housed on-campus. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city:
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
When you are stuck at home on a Sunday afternoon, De Doelen is the best place to unwind and experience a good free jazz concert. Biking is also fund and the best park so far I've visited in Rotterdam is the one near the Euromast. It is also nice to have a beer or coffee at the cafes and bars near the Cubic Houses. I never had difficulty in the language of instructions in the university as they use the English language which is the language of instructions in my home university. OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish I had taken my Spanish seriously. It would be a plus factor to know another language aside from English. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!

Personal recommendation:
Erasmus University is one of the best schools in Europe. It has a diverse environment and any foreign student will easily feel at home. The city (Rotterdam) is very vibrant and has a laid back student atmosphere very conjucive for learning. FINAL COMMENTS
It is wise to plan out your stay abroad by visiting other countries (if possible). It will save the student money if you book in advance. Also, it is wise to travel to the farthest country you wish to visit when you have a longer vacation (1 week) to maximize the trip.
