Erasmus University Rotterdam is an institution of higher education and research. This government sponsored University, named after the humanist Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus (1469-1536), was created by the merger (in 1973) of the former Nederlandse Economi-sche Hogeschool, founded in 1913, and the Rotterdam School of Medicine, founded in 1966. At present the university numbers some 15,000 graduate students and 3,200 staff members.

If returning, I would choose: hall of residence
Why? Because in that city I think it is the the best place to live in.

Because at home I still live at my parents place and because in the host country the standard of living is higher. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home.

Personal recommendation:
The think I liked the most it was the environment with the other Erasmus students and the facilities of the University. The teachers were, most of them so nice. FINAL COMMENTS
I travelled a lot and as Netherlands is not so big you can move easily. You must buy an one year travel card, it´s so usefull. The best choise is the live in the International house or Casa Erasmus. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
