FINAL COMMENTS

I performed, in the framework of Tempus Project, at the National Technical University of Athens the Thesis Project with the title: "Forward Converter with a Resonant Tank Flyback" in the area “Electrical Converters”. This Project belongs to the more complex frame "Electrical Cars", specifically Electrical Car Marbela-SEAT. The proposed circuit , in the Project, was a DC-DC Converter, a circuit which uses the advantage from both topologies, Forward Converters and Flyback Converters, and results in a converter with minimum efficiency of 92% . This topology is able to work with a low stress across its switches, without turn-on and turn-off snubbers and, last but not least, its packing is suitable for on-board systems. This work was performed with the support of professor S.N. Manias and the guidance of a committee composed by professors : · S.N.Manias from National Technical University of Athens; · A.G. Kladas from National Technical University of Athens; · F.Ionescu from University "Politechnica" of Bucharest; The committee awarded me : "Very Well".
