HOUSING
by Baeza, Universitat de Girona, Girona, Spain
Engineering, Mechanical, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? They have not yet much experiences with Foreigner students and the campus is the only chance to knew other students. There is also not many cull for apartments.
Personal comments:
The accomodation was really good. Comfortable, clean and I has all I need right close to the Campus. I needed 2 5 minutes to meet with my tutor and teacher. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
by Baeza, Universitat de Girona, Girona, Spain
Engineering, Mechanical, Erasmus
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Personal comments:
There was not any big offer but a little pub in the campus. The city needs more nightlife and there is not much to do. It is a city from the old DDR and they still need time to match with oder european cities. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
by Baeza, Universitat de Girona, Girona, Spain
Engineering, Mechanical, Erasmus
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
I was leaving at home with my family and the expences for food, accomodation are shared with them and they are less than when somebody lives alone. I did not have telephone and the expenses were more at home because they had to phone me. Nightlife was cheap and there was not much offer, thus I did not expend much money. To travel is expensive in Germany and I went to Berlin every weekend... Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
The travel expensences, because I wanted to travel more but the price did it unreachable. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
A little more chances to travel... but the money is the money. In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
This problem for this University is that they habe no experience with foreig students and also in the city they are not used to foreigners, because of this the life was a little hard there. FINAL COMMENTS
It was a great experience even when one is there and misses home and the life sometimes harder than at home is. The prove is that when I was back home I did my best to find something else in Germany, now home is too little! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
