It was just a question of change in economy. I maintain and evn lowered my living standards, but the costs per item were comparatively more expensive
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.

Yes, there are shops that are cheap for particular items. Once this is known, though it takes time, you can save some money.
