The University of Applied Sciences Solothurn Northwest Switzerland is situated at the southern rim of the Swiss Jura Mountains. There are 30-60 minute railway-connections to the cities of Zurich, Basel, Bern and Lucerne. With its pleasant climate - rather dry in winter and moderate heat in summer - it offers countless opportunities for skiing, hiking and other summer and winter activities. It was really hard at the beggining because of the other's people language level (much better than mine), but during the semester i improoved my level surprisingly, becomming fluent and the end of it.This was achieved with dairly self study of english as well as the university classes and social life.
