Göteborg University was launched through private initiative as a college of higher education in 1891; in 1907 it became an independent university college with the same status as the two national universities of Uppsala and Lund. Göteborg University was formally founded in 1954 through the amalgamation of this college with the Medical college, which had been established in 1949.

Why? We were 30 erasmus students from each part of the world, living in a small community.

Well...cost of living in Sweden is really expensive if you compare with Mexico's cost of living. Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
