Description:
Göteborg University was launched through private initiative as a college of higher education in 1891; in 1907 it became an independent university college with the same status as the two national universities of Uppsala and Lund. Göteborg University was formally founded in 1954 through the amalgamation of this college with the Medical college, which had been established in 1949.

Why? it´s difficult to get a room/apartment in Gothenburg on your own, but you might succeed

they are doing a great job in organizing a room for the exchange students; just the rent is a bit high

stick to exchange students community and student board ("Karen"), they will helpo you a lot in the beginning Join as much activities as you can! It´s worth it!
