Göteborg University was launched through private initiative as a college of higher education in 1891; in 1907 it became an independent university college with the same status as the two national universities of Uppsala and Lund. Göteborg University was formally founded in 1954 through the amalgamation of this college with the Medical college, which had been established in 1949.

No ones, this university was modern, well organised, with nice lectures and interesting courses. Perhaps just proposing some more marketing courses in english
