HOUSING
by frank, Rotterdam School of Management, Rotterdam, Netherlands
Management Science, University Agreement
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I rented a house with three other students. There was a private swimmingpool and a housekeeper. The price of 250€ a person a month is high for Indonesia, but it was definitely worth it! Similar houses are easy to find, but it is also possible to have a nice house without swimmingpool.
Personal comments:
The university has its own hotel where you can stay for a long period. This is however not a really pleasant place to stay, and for the same price you can find a nice house. It is an option to stay here the first month, but whereas you can easily find a house in 1-2 weeks you can stay in a hotel as well.

OVERALL

Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
Obivously the expenses!!!! They scare the hell out of Asian students please do some thing about this.
In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
SWin Burne needs to support the International community to have some kind of work experience atleast for 12 weeks, else whats the use of a student spending $ 20000 to 30000 for just a degree with no work internship to support him to look for a job!!!!!!! Cmon you need to give better than this foer the fees the international student pays.
