KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.

Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because I have there my own room. Also have kitchen and living room. And you can live with other students together.
Personal comments:
In the house were I'm living is pretty big. Everybody has his own room. We have a garage, bathroom with a second toilet downstairs, living room and a big living kitchen. The bad thing is that it is sometimes not that warm. But generally ist really o.k.. I'm living together with a rumanien, spanish and france gay. So it is good, because you always have to talk english. I think the accommodation from the GMIT are very good and close to the college.

ACADEMIC
by JAN, Ceske Vysoke Uceni Technicke v Praze, Prague, Czech Republic
Engineering, Civil, Erasmus
My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
It bodes well to arrange as much as you can before you arrive. Although In my case I wanted to have subjects from various departments so I had to wait till I could see what was really offered and what was not classing in the timetable. I was disappointed that exams were written in the sportshall with hundrets of other students and I could not choose when I wanted to do each subject.

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
I would change the way of examing. At my home university each teacher is responsible for his/her way of examing and students can choose the date they like.

It was a constant struggle.
Educational
Administrative / Institutional
Overall
Language of instruction: German
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning German a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge
How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Basic phrases
My level after: At ease in most situations
Personal comments:
At the beginning it was very hard on the college, because I didn't have a lot of experience in technical english. But after some week it was o.k. You learn every day new words and it becomes better from one week to the other. In the social life it was ok because you improve day per day because you speak every day english.

FINAL COMMENTS

even if you think you have enough time to study for exams and final projects, it would be better to start studying at the very beginning of the course ,i.e. September. you will have a great advantage, especially if you are attending lectures from other courses.
