HOUSING
by AudioSolvay, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The appartment I lived in was close to university, but quite far away for the center of the city. I would like to find another place closer to the center, to be able to meet more people.
Personal comments:
The accomodation was good. I wa very clean, with a lot of facilities. I was very good to live in. The neighberhood was very quiet though, and quite far away from the center. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Finances des marchés: really interesting
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Regarding the previous field, as I have not done any exam yet, I cannot fulfill the requests properly. Regarding academic life...it is always difficult to implement "Bologne", like in Barcelona. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: French
Was learning French a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
It's not very easy to get in touch with the local students, but once you broke the ice, they are really nice people. I personally haven't had any language problems. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
by natalya, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium
Management Science, Erasmus
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
swiss grant for incoming foreigh students Work opportunities:
It was not legal for me to work Personal spending habits:
everything was more expensive Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
for travelling, better to buy a tran pass, for the phonecalls, better to use the mobile to call on another mobile, prefer renting an appartment not in the center of the city but outside and still reachable by metro or other transports This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
i would have saved more money in order to travel more In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
very nice campus with a lot of international students, is really worth to study there especially for the social life FINAL COMMENTS
if you want to travel it's better to buy a train pass since the beginning of the stay there, then you may travel and pay half the normal price for the trains (which are quite expensive there) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
