I live at home with my parents so I do not have to pay rent. As an exchange student I used to travel around and go out a lot more than I usually do at home. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Telephone: was the same price as at home.

Personal recommendation:
always consider if it is really worth to buy the metro passport each month. when exams are coming up, you won't have much time to go to town, so it doesn't really pay off to buy one then. FINAL COMMENTS
