It doesn't have a HUGE name yet, but it's on its way up. Last year, the HEC Montreal Team won third place at the National University of Singapore Case Competition against 640 teams from 117 schools. The list of competitors is a who's who of the world's top business schools. The final round had IESE, Kellog, IIT, Rice, Rotterdam, and Jain, and we won third place!

It's a one year program, so it takes a motivated individual to get things done and done quickly, but if you don't fancy digging a big financial hole for yourself just so you can go to business school, then HEC Montreal may be the best Judo move of your career.

Well founding an accomodation is not so easy or you have to arrive on the 1st of July when most of the people change appartments. For traveling it is quite nice to travel with the organized trips but also with a small group of student, it is cheaper to rent a car and divide the cost with the persons in the car. If you have any problems go the association, they will help you.

Myself and everyone I know had an amazing time. There is so much to see and do both in Montreal and within reasonable travelling distance. Exchange students are really well catered for.

HEC Montreal'S English MBA program started only in 2000-2001 and has a long way to go but with in a short span of 3-4 years it has made its mark. It is categorized amongst the top 100 business schools in North America and amongst top 10 non US MBA universities. The university is ideally built and located, and is fully equiped with internet, library and other resources. If one wants to have his/her money's worth and also to spend one best year of studies, i will recommend HEC Montreal to her/him
