If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I had my own house before coming to school, so living with roommates is not high on my list of things to do.
Personal comments:
Housing around campus gets easy to find around June or July, but before that be prepared to be charged a higher rate. If you could wait, wait until the summer to secure housing. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Was learning French a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
Montreal is bilingual (French/English). So I had the opportunity to practice my English a lot (with local people, my housemates, etc.) even if HEC Montreal is a french-speaking business school. This said HEC do offer some of the courses in Engkish and in Spanish also. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

If you travel a lot you will have more expences for sure, but there are affordable travel agencies as well. Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife: was the same price as at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

Myself and everyone I know had an amazing time. There is so much to see and do both in Montreal and within reasonable travelling distance. Exchange students are really well catered for. FINAL COMMENTS
