Why? All the foreign students are living here. Therefore it's a very international. It's cheap for Amsterdam and close to the HES
Personal comments:
It is ok. Only some facilities need improvement. Damaged things are not repaired, most of the rooms where very durty when we arrieved

Meander. queen's day. The exchange pub ( Voorburgstraat, only for exchange student : the best place to meet other exchange students!)

It is a new MBA, for this reason still need some adjustment to improve its performance. I believe that they are working on.

in fact in netherlands, everybody speaks english. so for one year specially in amsterdam, there's no need to learn dutch. in fact nobody speaks it outside netherlands !

The life is generally more expensive in Amsterdam than in Pris and this is specially true for the food and the housing, but for the nightlife it was the frequency that made me spend more than at home
Food, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

The accomodation situation must be improved...some students really have a bad time!



FINAL COMMENTS

Amsterdam is a very attractive city and the HES has a very good reputation. If you dont mind bad weather and rain, then you should definitely go for it!
