HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? if i live in an apartment, it is better for me to have more friends and maybe more opportunities to communicate with people.
Personal comments:
Actually, I am fatisfied with what the school did for us. it is not easy to control or to manage these people simultanouesly, but it is good for students to learn how to communicate with others and to be tolerant and independent. I like to go to Irish pub and the American Dream in the city center sometimes with friends to celebrate some special events like birtherday etc. For cafe, we normal went to the Engels near Central Station to meet someone or just have fun there. the Blaak square is really amazing because of the achetechure style. OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish to travel to more countries in Europe before going. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I suggest to 1.get rid of the accellerated programme 2. set some formal language courses for international students. 3.for the language courses, some students from other countries can be helpful. 4.improve the management system. FINAL COMMENTS
All in all, study in the Netherlands is easy for me to travel to other european countries and very good environment to study other european languages like French, German, Spanish etc if you have time.I advice the students try to study as many languages as they can and find part-time jobs constantly to enrich the social experiences.
