HOUSING
by Eva, ICADE, Madrid, Spain
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because it was a great experience to live on campus but if I'm about to go back I'd like to try new experiences.
Personal comments:
Residential facilities on campus are well equiped and they are located so close to university facilities. Good rooms woth private bathroom, shared kitchen and laundry premises. Nice ambient. The only dissapointing issue could be frequent fire alarms during the night, and that it's really hard to get a room here. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Assuming your English is really good at the start of your exchange, you might be able to skip some of the courses obligatory to exchange students, because they can be a bit boring if you already know the culture quite a bit.
My opinion of the university assessment

I came to that University to study something very specific: I wanted to prepare my exams for the 1997-1998 Certificate in English for Business in the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and they really help me, so as a result, I pass with Credit in most of the areas I studied: Business English, Bookkeeping and Accounts International Trade Sales and Negotiation This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish I had known more about the administrative procedures at British Universities. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I think Heriot-Watt University is one of the top universities in the world and the experience of living the atmosphere of a British university was excellent. FINAL COMMENTS
Fortunately, Heriot-Watt University provides you with everything you need. However, if I could leave you with one thought is that you are the main responsible for your integration in a new country. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
