HOUSING
by spezzino, Universita di Parma, Parma, Italy
Financial Management, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? It gives opportunity to know a lot of people, and it s supposed to be pretty new and well working building.
Personal comments:
The housing in its broad evaluation was good, cause the same landlord owned several buildings in a district and then everything worked like a campus, and the social life has been perfect for an erasmus experience. Unfortunately those buildings were very bad kept. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
by Suzanne, The Hague University, The Hague, Netherlands
Business Studies, Erasmus
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The`re are several bars you can go to in Brussels. I like the bars in the city center, depot, mezzo, cafe central, mappa mundo, dali`s bar, but. I haven`t found a real student bar, I mean a place where you can meet students from other universities. The student asociation from my university aranged a couple of good parties and also the student asociation which was helping the erasmus students. Fuse (big club) parties were very good. In Brussels they have nice clubs but rather expensive. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
I improved a lot my English even if most lecturers were not native English speakers (except one). As other students are in your same situation you don't feel unesay when you speak English. Even when you habe a talk with dutch students (who are very good in English) they make you at easy. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
