Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Dutch
Was learning Dutch a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Dutch How much did you improve your Dutch?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
At first very difficult to learn. I had to push to get any lessons, and the Dutch have a very high level of English which they want to use (either to help you or to improve their English). It was frustrating at first although very rewarding. At the end I felt completely at ease and pretty fluent in social situations and enjoyed learning the language. Personal recommendation:
A wonderful experience. Teachers who will spend their time happily to help you and a very friendly encouraging atmosphere. Good music facilities and many useful opportunities with the possibility of joining any class you want and workshops. However, generally bad organisation at the college. FINAL COMMENTS
People will always help you if you ask. Try everything once, get a bike and be careful with it - there are sometimes different rules for who has the right of way. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
