The 'hogescholen' in The Netherlands offer a wide variety of higher professional education in applied science. In January 1995 a new 'Hogeschool' has come into existence: The Hogeschool van Utrecht. It is a result of a merging process of three institutes for higher professional education in Utrecht.
The Hogeschool van Utrecht is one of the largest in The Netherlands; it offers a wide variety of programmes in technology,science and engineering, commerce and administration, communications, health care, teacher training and social welfare.

My housing was preety good! But expensive, I've paid 310 euros to share a room with an other student.

Yo can have there some Dutch courses! but it's just one hour by week so not enough to really learn the language.Maybe I didn't speak enough with local students.

Bus is really expensive so you must think to buy a bike! Second-hand bikes are around 60 euros!
