Description:
The 'hogescholen' in The Netherlands offer a wide variety of higher professional education in applied science. In January 1995 a new 'Hogeschool' has come into existence: The Hogeschool van Utrecht. It is a result of a merging process of three institutes for higher professional education in Utrecht. The Hogeschool van Utrecht is one of the largest in The Netherlands; it offers a wide variety of programmes in technology,science and engineering, commerce and administration, communications, health care, teacher training and social welfare.
