Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Can't miss: Sir Lancelot(restaurant where you have to eat with your fingers). Fatal(restaurant where you can't manage to eat all the food you get). Old man's pub(pub with very nice atmosphere),The Dock(big disco, have to bee there, one of the most expensive disco in town, beside Bank and Citadell). The university disco "kÖzgas" is also good...and not expencive).Fat mo's(pub/disco)..always a lot of people. You also have to visit one of the outdoor bath- Gellert and the one in the Vörösliget park is good. The castle hill is a must. So is the Gellert topp from where you can see the whole city. for the best cafe you should go to cha-cha-cha,it is an undergroundcafe next to the metrostation. In Budapest there are so many beautiful places to see, the palace, the fishersman bastion, the lights during the night. Even the university is a great place to see. It is a really beautiful city, I was proud to live there and come out of my appartment every day looking around how amazing it was. Rackert, Romkert, and the other outdoor places during the summer can be fun. Avoid the Kozgaz Pince club like the plague. The house parties could be fun, but the ISC doesn't have nearly enough decent females and the crowd was usually the same at every party, but at least there weren't too many Hungarians. All the theatres and operas, so cheap and very good- definately instead of the movies! Many good bars with live music, such as Fat Mo's and Old Mans. Piaf, Piaf, Piaf! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

In summer there a parties on the end of each bridge on the Busa-side of Budapest. It is quite an experience to take part in such an event. Usually those parties also advertised at the university This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Oh my god, best night life ever! Be prepared, it's gonna rock! First, the open bars close to the Danube are fu**** amazing during summer. Then, you have the Kozgaz cafe (university disco) which is quite good to meet other erasmus. My favorite bar was the Trafo (ferenc korut metro) good drum and bass on tuesdays...the you have the old man (american style not that good), the Piaf, etc...do not forget the Turkish bath party once per month (tickets available at the Chachacha...the best party EVER!!!!!
