Why? Sorry for being so rude but after having spent a year in the United States, I haven't really improve my english more than that. The main problem was that our class had 100 per cent of Erasmus (Spanish, German, French). I would not recommend anybody to go for an Eramus exchange whether your own objective is to improve your english. When you hear Erasmuss talking in english, sometimes its chocking! Sorry about that!

Personal comments:
My accomodation was really great and confortable. Besides the fact that is sometimes very cold. My house was not really well-isolated! However, the atmosphere was really warmful!

Personal comments:
humm... So lots of it depends what you are looking for! On monday never miss the Clarence it is full of Irish and you will never see Sligo as cazy as it is> Do as you are Irish during the Rag Week: crazy week, no school only parties everywher,everytime! Then to go out from thusday to Sunday night : The Envy or Toffs to go out, The Shennanigans ( some bad guys in charge of security..) but it is free and you can danse as in a niteclub!!when sun or warm day come: Mc Huggs!!! Lots of Pub are really nice in Sligo and more Irish but these u must discover by yourself : just on tuesday, karaoke in The Stables, good fun guarantee!

Course recommendations:
Don't think too much, take it easy! The level in Environmental Science is not so high, that you easily can pass the exams with a little effort! Get some old exams and go through them, that's it! Visit the websites of the lecturers; there is often good information available (but only a few people look at them)! Don't give up, if you don't the Irish accents during the first month! You will understand them after a while, for sure!

Personal comments:
Give the notes to the students in the beginning of the semester! Overheads are shit and hard to follow, if you don't understand the words or if you have to listen to the lecturer while copying the overhead!

Personal spending habits:
I live with my parents so food and housing is free, telephone would be too costly because I still have my belgian number. And I travel more to see as much as possible before I go back.

Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.

Nightlife: was the same price as at home.

Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

I wish I had known...
At the moment I have no idea!
