I wish I had known...
If you have big feet (size )9 1/2- 10 womens, you CANT buy shoes here. I need shoes bad. No shorts. People only wear jeans here. I dyed my hair brown so people would stop bothering me and stop treating me like a slut (they think all N. Americans are easy). Bring more pants and sweaters...it isn't that hot here. Make the first move. YOU have to talk to mexicans, and make friends with them. They won't do it with you first. Take initiative, even if it is so hard. And once again, life is not cheap. Mex. girls are not easy (at all) and you have to pay for everything if you are the guy. In my opinion:

Personal recommendation:
My personal recommendation would be to visit the scool first, and if one likes what they see then I would highly recomend finding a family to live with. I don't see why people would go to another country to live with people of there native country unless they just wanted to get away from home. FINAL COMMENTS
As I compile my thought about my stay in Mexico I've come to the conclusion that his was the best time I've ever had in school. They had great teachers with a desire to help. They gave me a great family to live with and learn from. I loved going to the "marketa" on the weekends and eating mexican food. My favorite dinner is "Pojo con mole". The only real recomendation I can give is, If you speak spanish or want to learn, go to mexico. It doesn't matter which school you go to, just how much you get out of it. Don't sit around and wait for people to come to you if you go to another country. Be outgoing and introduce yourself alot. People like that and in Mexico it is a very friendly environment. I recommend that TEC works on developing a greater job network with the local multinationals/corporations to place it's students in internships, CO-OPs, and so on. Besides that, it is a great developing network of universities and I recommend that TEC keeps moving forward. FINAL COMMENTS

It's one of the top schools in Mexico but by no means the only school. It has a good sized exchange program and excellent resources like a completely wireless campus. Student life is very good! FINAL COMMENTS
Travel every weekend! The bus system in mexico is cheap and convenient. Plan to meet at the bus station every friday with an open mind and "where to next" attitude and you will fully experience everything Mexico has to offer. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
