I learned alot from this experience. The professors came from all over the world and you get to taste different kinds of food and cultures. Local students were nice and friendly and working together as a group in a project was the best thing of all. I learned how the local students worked and was very impressed by their punctuality and hard work.

I strongly recommend everyone to go to this university. Punctuality is the most important thing for the locals and they expect you to be like them too. Always be alert when the class is in session as lessons go really fast and by the time you realised it, it's already too late.

I really loved those 5 months! Stayed in Raslatt - I think it's the best b/c the most people stay there; we rented a car almost every weekend for travelling around (cheaper than public transport); unfortunately I found no cheap place to eat so cooked for myself or with others. If somebody said I could go back I would not hesitate:o)

If you can, do not live in Raslatt. For the same price you can live in town.

It was a great experience. There a lot of nice sights to visit in Sweden. Jönköping itself might be a little small and not that existing itself but this is compensated by the experience of living together in a communtity of international students.

Great infrastructure and Teachers, very poor accommodations options for foreigner

Sweden, Undergraduate

Overall
The university has great facilities and the professors are very knowledgable, however, if you are a foreigner thinking of studying here, there is a couple of things to keep in mind regarding the accommodation. While they give the impression of being able to choose by selective different accomodation alternatives if you are a foreigner you will be most definitely sent to Raslatt (one of the furthest and oldest student accommodation). The accomodation here is old and not very inviting. Raslatt is located in a pretty rough neighbour compared to the other students accomodation. Let's say that drug dealing and police are often seen here. What they won't tell you is that most foreigners will be placed there while Swedish and Nordic, in general, will be assigned the better places in the near the city centre. They will, of course, deny this, but in the 3 years that I have been in Raslatt, where about 800 students live, I haven't seen a single Swedish student. What's more, if you ask to swap between rooms even in the same building, they will tell you that you cannot even if they are empty. A simple request of moving from an apartment to another, will become a back and forth between the university and the landlord that owns that apartments, where both parties will tell you is up to the other, and the only way to get out of the accommodation is to give 3 months' notice. Which makes finding another room pretty impossible. I found their lack of even trying to accommodate basic requests so frustrating.

the university should continue on those strong parts like resources and good professors.Where as the university deem to ignore international internships for international students and should organize separate rooms for student claims.

I would like to say the university is good for international students in providing basic knowledge and concepts of the principles.
