Why? I lived in a shared house with 30 other students from around the world. I not only learned about Belgian culture, but other nationalities too.

Course recommendations:
Law Faculty is specilly well-Known abroad and one of the most prestigious institutions of Europe. I recommend courses on International Relations.

Belgians (especially students) are excellent at languages. Limited opportunity to speak the Dutch I learned because the Belgian students wanted to try out thier English (and they were very good)

Going out is considerably cheaper than in Madrid, You can have a lot of beer at a very good price

If you're really interested in European Union Law, Leuven is the place to be! And if you're more interested in having fun and make friends, Leuven is also the place to be!!!



FINAL COMMENTS

When it comes to travelling, ask for a "Go-pass" at any railway station: it's the cheapest way to travel inside Belgium. If you want to take part in organised travels outside Belgium, no doubt you shoul become a member of Pangaea.
