Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Campus is too far away from Melbourne City
Personal comments:
The accomodation was okay (rooms were a bit small, but very clean, housemates were really nice) and the facilities were very good (Internet-access in your room, fitness-center, library, etc.). Festivals were organized... all in all it was really okay!!

Educational
Administrative / Institutional
Overall
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
I already had a high knowledge of english before going to Australia but I gained knowledge in specialised business vocabulary and overall in my writing skills. The result is that english is not a foreign language for me anymore, I think in english and mainly could easily work in a english speaking environment!

Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
Open yourself to the others (students and staff) and they will open as well. Very nice atmosphere to be enjoyed at any time.

FINAL COMMENTS

Careful with visa, permits, and all administrative stuff. Buy a second-hand car there if possible, distances are huge (nothing to do with Europe) in the city itself. Excellent time guaranteed if expenses carefully managed. Academic experience OK. Visit Bali (Indonesia)! And Sydney!
