HOUSING
by Carlos, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla, Spain

Personal assessment
Type of housing: corridor
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: corridor
Why? "Corridor" is the most extended kind of housing in Linköping. I have my own room and toilets, but I live with 7 people more and it is very easy to rely on the others and to know different people.
Personal comments:
Here in Linköping (Sweden) they look after their students, because we have a lot of space in our corridors and we are receiving solution inmediatly if we have some problems. And it is very easy to rely on different people from different countries. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
by Andrew, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia
Management Science, University Agreement
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The beloved Herrgår'n (HG) will remain number one according to most exchange students. Located right in the middle of the student accomodation its hard to beat on Friday or Saturday night with Naoki on the dance floor! Try Tuesday evenings for international student night. The other student ran club is Natiernas Hus (Nations House, NH -sorry I spelt it wrong in Swedish). This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Lot of researches to make by ourselves, lots of books to read. But lots of group works which are very interesting.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Difficult because mainly exchange students with different backgrounds. Maybe focus more instead of giving whole books to read... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Was learning Swedish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Swedish How much did you improve your Swedish?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
At first I was really keen as I had the time. As University started, unfortunately the time I could spend learning the language suffered. I found most people wanted to speak english to me when they found out that I was native speaker. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
by Imke, Universität Lüneburg, Lüneburg, Germany

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I knew before that Sweden is commonly more expensive than Germany. But I was surprised about the big difference. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Although the university is quite bis with its 20.000 students you feel familar. I think the reason for that was the small size of the classes and the good communication with teh teacher. But at the beginning, I had problems with the bureaucracy at the university. For several things you need special card to enter, for example. But in whole, i really enjoyed the atmosphere at the Campus. FINAL COMMENTS
Try to travel and see as much things as you can. You will never have the possbility again. But spend money before you go. Otherwise you will probably get in financial trouble. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
