Better if one has arranged almost everything from home, since I was there a bit lost until I could find my place. Read Review

HOUSING

Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Student Village, private hall, 4 bedrooms flat
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? First of all it is much cheaper than living in a hall. Secondly, if you found the right people to live with it is a lot of fun. Thirdly, more space, less problems with too noisy people and usually not as much first year's than in here.
Personal comments:
I can not really tell much about accomodation provided by this university, because I live in a private hall, but I have seen some of the university's halls and they are very nice in general.

The exchange office needs to be more personal and considerate. A couple of people even left as the support wasnt there for their transition into English life.

FINAL COMMENTS

If you are an American do yourself a favour and not just hang out with Americans....it reduces your experience by such a huge amount.
