HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Student Village, private hall, 4 bedrooms flat
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? First of all it is much cheaper than living in a hall. Secondly, if you found the right people to live with it is a lot of fun. Thirdly, more space, less problems with too noisy people and usually not as much first year's than in here.
Personal comments:
I can not really tell much about accomodation provided by this university, because I live in a private hall, but I have seen some of the university's halls and they are very nice in general. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Choose whatever you like, it opens your mind a little bit and helps to improve your English, but unfortunately most of the courses don't count at all in Germany.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Well, it would be very nice to be able to do courses that take you further in your studies in general and not only specifically in England. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I am a very talkative person and you have to be to improve your language if you stay in England, because the majority of English people are quite reserved. I did two courses at a local language college what helped me a lot to improve my level of English. I recommend this to anyone who has enough time and motivation to do this. OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
No, it was very good to experience everything I did experience right here. In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
None. FINAL COMMENTS
Be aware that you will not find a lot of nice English people here. Most of them are very impolite, strange and reserved. I have never seen so many fights in my life and did not experience so much rudeness before. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
