HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because I met there so many international friends and it was close to the university and the train station to go to Central London.

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
At the beggining it was difficult to understand people speaking in English, but later, you start getting used. You can improve a lot your language skills because everyone there, even international students, communicate in english. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Because London is a very expensive city. Everything is more expensive than in Valenvia. Moreover, in Valencia I was living with my parents and in London I was living by myself, which results in higher costs. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Not really. I asked the students that went the previous year to the same university the main questions that I wanted to know. It was really useful. I recommend to do the same. I also registered on the induction week that the university offered for international students. i think it as worth. In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Most of the resources are pretty good, but it can be good for you if you ask your classmates (locals preferably) about how to face your coursework and how to improve your techniques on writing essays in english. FINAL COMMENTS
london is quite a expensive city so I suggest to live at the halls of residence at least at the beggining because it's not very expensive and all the bills are included in your payments. Underground is very expensive , so try to get your student discount card at the uni. register with your local doctor and open your bank account as soon as possible.
