If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House

Why? Sharing an apartment with some friends,particularly with different nationalities and cultures has given me a good experience to mingle with them and know more about them as we hail from a different place.so,it is an opportunity and a challenge to live along with them.i would cherish it to the content of my heart.

Personal comments:
I was a little nervous before getting to this university but after i got to the house,i felt like i wasnt away from home.it gave me and still giving me an opportunity to be acquainted with people of different countries like Sweden,Germany,Nigeria,Russia and India and some others as well who happen to be my neighbors at my apartment and also co-students.apart from all the arrangements made for the international students not to be affected by the biting cold during most of the time in the year along with the other facilities,i found it commendable to have boarded in such a good house, more so with quite a different people once, who turned out to be my good friends in less than two months.all in all,the housing is excellent and i couldnt have asked for more when i started at home thinking about how it is going to be.thanks for everything they have done for us to have a nice stay in sweden as long as we board.

Personal comments:
the favourite night spot for me is the student pub named Kurhuset where we all friends freak out during the weekends.apart from this,there are two other pubs called Oscar and Esplanad,where we visit occasionally.going to Kurhuset gives me an opportunity to mingle with co students of different branches particularly.there is also a restaurant on the top of the hill from which we can have a view of the whole city which is said to be an excellent spot.also,there is a place for skeeing which allows us to enjoy a new and a different sport.

Course recommendations:
our course is particularly a project oriented course in which we study a lot about topics we havent studied in depth during the undergraduate level.courses like VLSi and embedded systems are included in this first semester which probably gives us the start to the lead up where we need to have profound knowledge on these in time to come.i find this course very challenging and very enjoyable to work with all the students and the teachers.

Personal comments:
i dont think there need to be any improvements in the academic life as it gave me a real opportunity to work as a team for our projects,an experience which i havent had a lot in the previous years.it made me realise a lot of advantages of team work.

Personal spending habits:
Had to buy own food in Sweden, usually a bit more expensive than US. For nightlife, the alcohol prices are about twice as much as in the States. Public transportation was good.

Nightlife, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.

Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home.

I wish I had known...
when i started at home,i didnt expect anything but when i came all i had to take was positives out of everything.i am very satisfied with everything.
