Norway is a much more expensive country than Romania in all aspects, but with a higher life standard also, so I assume that inhabitants don't necessarily feel they are spending too much. For a student living out of a grant it's nevertheless hard.

A cheaper dorm can mean a significant saving of money without a too bigger difference in conditions compared to a more expensive on campus accommodation.

In Norway everything is extremely expensive and clearly more expensive than in Switzerland. An exception was the surprisingly competitive telecommunication industry. Mobile phones were cheap and the telecommunication services good. The student residents are reasonably priced.

Well some people say you should go to REMA 1000 which is a cheap place, but the only real advice I can give is to bring food from home which lasts long. the students trip are good priced too usually.

I wanted to explore Norway and have a social life with the exchange student, so I travelled and went out more than an ordinary student usually does. And it was deffinitely worth doing. Besides that Norway is realtively expensive country.

Travelling in Norway is very expensive -I recommend to inform about all travel discounts immediatelly in the beginning. Cycling in spring and summer is the best way of the local transportation.

Its Norway, everything is very expensive when you compare it with Indian prices. I spent around 40% of my total on accomodation.

Experience at Petit Bateau during 2 months internship
I was lucky to perform this internship during the private sales and then the summer sales period. There were therefore continuously new things to do, which made this internship interesting.
