My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) Personal comments:
Everyone in Denmark knows the english language so I didn't have any particular problem of communication, both in the host country and university. At the beginning it was pretty difficult because I had little knowledge of english language, but after 2/3 months I was able to interact easly.
