As the euro was pretty strong when I was in the United States, life in general was pretty cheap. I spent less on phoning because I used skype - a good and cheap way to stay in contact with all your dears! Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

The food was cheaper but there were so many new products I wanted to try. Again the actual cost of using the telephone was cheaper, but when you are calling from the US to Europe it becomes expensive. Food, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
