HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? If possible I would stay in the same apartment I did last time because it was good value for money, very clean and tidy with an exellent location.

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The best place is a bar called Fridays down on the riverside in Brisbane city. Go up on a Wednesday night, which is unoffically student night, foods is great and drinks are reasonable. Thursday has to be spent in the Port Office hotel then onto the Victory. As for the weekend head down into the district know as the Valley and you should find a good spot. ACADEMIC
My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Implement more modules to choose from and organise the time slots of the classes better. At home the university bunches classes together so students spend more time at the university in less trips rather than the other way around.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Lower the percentage the assignments are worth and increase the weight of the exams. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Government assistance Other sources of funding:
Family Personal savings Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
I thought food was generally cheaper. Phone calls were of a similar price and calling home was not a problem as calling through the Internet is very cheap. Housing was slightly more expensive because the university was in the centre of a city. Nightlife was similar in price with beer and enterance fees matching that of the UK. Travel was always going to cost me more, because I had so much I wanted to see. However on a day to day basis I would have to say that public transport in Australia is far superior to that of the UK, with busses and trains being on time and cheaper. Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Make the most of the free services ofered to you such as the free bus loops around the city. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
That everything would turn out fine. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I would recommend this university to anybody invloved in Business or Information Technology. The facilities are good and the location even better. FINAL COMMENTS
When picking a bank use Commenwealth as they have the most ATM machines in the city and using another bank to your owns will cost you money. If you need a mobile phone go with Optus pay and go their tarrifs are amazingly cheap. If you travel up the cost make sure you spend at least a week in Byron Bay its quite frankly amazing.
