The University of Groningen is the second oldest in the Netherlands. It was founded on 23 August 1614 on the initiative of the "Statenvergadering van Stad en Ommelanden van Groningen" (Groningen States General). The University began with six professors in four faculties: Theology, Law, Medicine and Philosophy. There are now ten faculties, housed in 150 buildings on various locations in and around Groningen.

housing was much more expensive than at home and i spent money for travelling because for me its important to get to know the country where I study Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Overall: was the same price as at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

its an university with a very good reputation; Courses are hard but really interesting; a lot of group work to do as well FINAL COMMENTS
registration for wings is very useful (student organisation) - they organise trips, activities, help with university to travel: buy a reduction card at the train station; very cheap and you can take 3 more people with you for half price housing: its not easy to find accomodation in groningen - reserve as soon as possible a room in a studenthouse This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
