Personal assessment
Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because this is the best chance one can have to meet people outside the university. An exchange room was a good accomodation solution which was a bit expensive but not too much and it gave me the opportunity to meet native students and exchange a lot with them. But the academic world is narrow somehow and students are not representative of the entire society, so living in an appartment is a good solution to meet another part of the society and learn more.
Personal comments:
The Danish system is a bit surprising for a French person. This system gives a lot to the students, they have a lot comfort, of facilities that French student do not have. Besides the way those accomodation are organised (at least where I've been living) in a way that pushes people to meet each other. Students share a kitchen, a living room, a bar, a garden, they have to organise everything from buying salt and paper to the furnitures for the living room, a Hi-Fi etc. You learn a lot from such experience. The principally parties were in the University. There were a few good pubs in the center of the town, principally "the crow" (sorry I do not remenber the name in danish). Course recommendations:
This courses , in the start were very strange for me , especially that I have studiedin a totally different cultural envirronment.They are project based!This means, indivindual and also there is cooperation in the work with other students, classmates.

Yes!I think, it's little difficult for the people like me that I have different way of studying in my country!I needed more help in the start to undersatnd the project meaning, the way of learning etc!But I did it with hard work and daily work! That was a really good experience for improving my knowledges in English in general. The work language was English, I wrote my essay in English, had my evalation with both Danish and French teachers half in French and half in English, all theses elements resulted allowed me to improve dramatically my English. I am somehow a bit disappointed by the fact that I did not really learn Danish. The fact that the majority of the population is bilingual and speak easily English doesn't help to learn the local language. It was not legal for me to work Personal spending habits:
the prices are generally higher in Denmark compared to Russia Food, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Pay your bills on time otherwise fees are enormous. The cheapest supermarket - Netto, good meet products are in Føtex. Transport - buses and trains have operate under the same system, so one can use the same ticket for both. For smokers - cigarettes are very expensive, so bring as many as you can with you to Denmark. Do shopping at the discounts time (after Christmas and after 15 July) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
I liked a lot the way they organized the studies. You don´t have to go to the university everyday so yuo have a lot of free time to enjoy traveling. FINAL COMMENTS
If you go to study there my best advice is that if you really want to enjoy your stay there try to make the workshop with danish students not only with erasmus, you will learn and enjoy more This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
