Cause Sweden is an expensive country if one is not earning money there. What would You do it You had a 200Euro grant per month?? My appartment was 2500 SEK per month, so the grant was not even enough for this. Plus 500 SEK per month for public transport ticket... and food and stuff ... Let's face it, Sweden is an expensive country, especially Stockholm. This unfortunately is caused by the grant, which was THE SAME wherever one went - which is plain STUPID!!!! A friend of mine who had the choice between Italy and Sweden chose Italy, for obvious reasons! :-) ok it was a relief to write that ;-) thank You Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Cost-saving?? Well, buy food at bigger stores ;-))) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

sweden is an expensive country. even if students access certain facilities, it's not possible to compare lisbon and stockholm. some comments: in sweden you can bring lunch to uni and warm it up in microwaves (it's traditional, social and cheap ;)! ps. don't forget that erasmus is a special occasion for travelling and nightlife... Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
take lunch to university if you have the chance! phone as well as internet are quite cheap. ikea provides nice furniture at reasonable prices. cinema, dinner out and discos are expensive but a hot dog costs you around 1 euro... Because Sweden is more expensive than my country. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
For students who like to go out i recommend not to choose bars and clubs which are expensive, because there are a lot of bars that are good and have good music but are cheaper. Talk with local community and you will find great (cheaper) places. Avoid going to the restaurant very often. Cook at home and take your own food at university (that's what local people do too). Personal comments:
Always look into website for auction and second hand usage stuff before going to buy new one. Well search and spend atleast 1 hour before deciding for new thing and find some cheap. Markete search is best option rather to stick with only one shop. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
