If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It's the solution that allows you to be more independent.
Personal comments:
Students need to manage to find housing on their own, support from univerity is limited, and consists mainly in advice from senior students

Because everything is a lot more expensive in France, especially in Paris.
Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Travel: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Nice to know bank accounts have practically no expenses, it's very common to use bank cards and cheques! Oh and phone fees are quite complicated, better choose some sort of "forfait"
