HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It's the solution that allows you to be more independent.
Personal comments:
Students need to manage to find housing on their own, support from univerity is limited, and consists mainly in advice from senior students This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Personal comments:
Don't miss sushi west and chez l'as du falafel... This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: French
Was learning French a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your French?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
Actually the languages of instruction were both french and english... which is a bit confusing sometimes but very stimulating This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Caisse d'Allocation Familiale and work Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
Because everything is a lot more expensive in France, especially in Paris. Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Travel: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Nice to know bank accounts have practically no expenses, it's very common to use bank cards and cheques! Oh and phone fees are quite complicated, better choose some sort of "forfait" This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Nobody's going to be kind to you just because you're a foreigner In my opinion:

During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Only choose it if you are ready to work hard FINAL COMMENTS
Science po gives you great opportunities, but don't understimate the wonders of french bureaucracy... They'll make your life hard. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
