Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Riga, Latvia Financial Management, Graduate, International Graduate Program (Master's degree)
Overall
Personal recommendation
Best school for Finance education in Europe, above average level for Marketing and Economics, low quality of Business courses. Generally, a very interesting and rewarding experience. If you come just for a few months or half a year to have fun - it's better to go South (Spain, Italy, etc.): people are more relaxed there.

Personal recommendation
I would highly recommend it. Althgouh it is expensive and quite cold in Stockholm, the city is amazing. The school has an amazing reputation (at least in NZ) and the work load and courses really helped prepare me for my final year at my home university. The fact that you live with other international students really broadens the experience, not to mention the school takes care of you really well with dinners, orientation and trips.

SSE has offered great opportunities to advance in the field of business and economics. First and foremost, the staff and the students are knowledgable, ambitious, and driven and constantly improve and learn, which are qualities that have rubbed off on me. I am more than ever curious to learn and explore current and future ways of maintaining economic sustainability in the world. During the BSc-program I have also explored different areas within economics such as entrepreneurship, macro-and microeconomics, marketing and strategy, and accounting and financial management. From this, I have learned to especially appreciate the last mentioned, which I also majored in. Accounting and financial management coupled with entrepreneurship and innovation is an area I aspire to pursue a career within. I have at SSE had the chance to leverage these aspiration by being an active student in the student association, where I have organized events aiming to inspire other students about art, culture, and alternative saving methods.
