Do what you can to minimize your expenses (ie Bus rather than train, shop wisely) in Sweden but don't limit yourself by money. What ever you spend is well worth it Read Review

Why? You have the chance to interact with students your age and live the exact same lifestyle. You also have the chance to meet more people this way.

Pretty good accomodation. You'll never be lonely there is always someone around!

V-dala hands down best nation in town. You have to be in Uppsala for Valborg as well.

Although everyone at a university level speaks english, and many other languages, Sweden offers a great opportunity to learn a new language. Although it is infrequently spoken in a global sense,the experience is wonderful

Sweden is an expensive country to live in. However because you are there to partake in new experiences you travel more and go out more than when you are at home.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was more expensive than at home.
Telephone, Housing: was the same price as at home.

Adapting to Uppsala and Sweden is quite easy anything you need to know you will learn.

Take classes in Rural Development. They have an awesome department.



FINAL COMMENTS

The opportunity to study abroad has left me with many awesome memories and friends in countries throughout the world. If given a chance to study in Uppsala please go. The city and both universities are well suited for exchange students. You will not regret it!
