HOUSING
by Gustaf, Högskolan i Jönköping, Jönköping, Sweden
Marketing and Sales Management, Through my home university's agreement
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It gives me the freedom to have my own space, use my time more efficiently since I can choose when to do stuff instead of being forced to do stuff at certain times on campus. I have better housing off campus which enables me to have more fun, I don't have to bother about a roommate barging in at 3 AM every night and I can bring my friends over when I feel like it. Higher quality of life basically.
Personal comments:
On campus housing is descent but as at many other american universities, on campus housing is mainly for freshmen and sophomores. I decided to live off campus and my friends that stayed on campus had regrets every day and a specially when they visited me and my housing. Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
The Dixie Chicken is a Texas A&M, College Station Landmark. The place known as North side is great to go out and have a beer and meet up with friends. The football season is always a good occasion to attend the games and have a good time. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. How much did you improve your English?
My level before: No problems in any areas (including slang) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
I had lived in Houston, Texas, years prior to attending A&M. This university was my home university. I was an international student, not an exchage student. I therefore had no problems at all with the language or communicating. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
Texas A&M is a huge university, there's something that can appeal to everyone no matter where they come from. FINAL COMMENTS
As any university of this size there will always be problems because it's impossible to please everyone. Other than that Texas A&M is an excellent institution with tons of history and tradition. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
