HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? my experience was fine and it is a good way to know people from the country where you live
Personal comments:
it's a private university so the accomodation is quite expensive and the houses and appartment's are uselessely luxurious This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Family Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
the food is cheap; usually, there aren't any phones in houses or appartments so you can by a mobile phone but it's quite expensive; the accomodation is more expensive in madrid; the nightlife is very important in Spain and it's difficult to avoid going out if you wanna make friends; travel in general is very cheap in Spain. Nightlife, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Overall: was the same price as at home. Food, Travel: was less expensive than at home.

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
no In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
the level of the courses is not very high and if you go to this university, it's more for the social and personal experience than to learn. FINAL COMMENTS
I recommend to live in the village of the university (villanueva de la cañada) because it's easier to know people and it's cheaper (no travel cost). If you study art, the level is really low and you won't learn a lot of new things but it is not important if you want to know the language. It's a private university and there is a very different atmosfeer than in a public one and it may be a problem, the students of this university are in general very rich.
