Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why? I had a great time with the family with which we rented our room. The room was quite small but we had access to internet, bathroom, living area, and kitchen.
Personal comments:
Honestly I don´t know about the housing at the university because I lived with the family I described in number 4.

If you study on the Getafe campus and want to go out frequently in Madrid I would recommend to search for a room in Legazpi, Delicias or Villaverde Alto. If you want to save money look for a room in Getafe close to the campus.
