It takes some time to figure out the best tariffs and of course you make more international calls then at home! Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife: was the same price as at home. Travel, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Europa 15 de Telefonica. You can call every day 15 minutes to a country of the EU. For 1500 Pts./month. There exist a variety of call back cards which can be found in "locutorios" (private phone shops!). This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The accomodation prices in the center of Madrid were higher. Furthermore, international phonce calls contribute a lot to more spendings. Furthermore, exploring a foreign country almost always implies more traveling, leading to more expenses in this category. Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.

One factor is that the dollar is below the euro right now. I think that´s the greatest reason my expenses have been higher than I am accostomed. Food, Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
I was surprised that in restaurants it´s favorable NOT to tip well, as I am accustomed to doing. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
